1. Using the service
These terms govern your use of Squario, operated by SmitSocial.Media Limited. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and use the service lawfully.
2. Group records and responsibilities
Users are responsible for expenses, splits, shopping items and settlement confirmations they enter. Group members should review records and resolve disputes between themselves. Squario calculates balances from supplied information but does not decide whether a real-world debt is legally owed.
3. No money movement
The service does not currently move money, process card payments, connect to bank accounts or confirm that an external payment took place. A settlement marked paid or received is a record made by group members.
4. Currency conversion
Converted amounts are estimates. Squario keeps the amount and currency originally entered and shows them alongside any conversion. Exchange rates can differ from the rate used by a bank or card provider.
5. Loyalty cards, vouchers and shared content
You are responsible for ensuring you may store or share loyalty cards, vouchers, codes and other content. Do not upload login credentials, payment-card details, unlawful material or information you do not have permission to share.
6. Partner and financial offers
The app may show clearly labelled partner offers and may earn commission. Offers are provided by third parties and can change or expire. Financial offers are not personal financial advice; check eligibility, fees, rates and provider terms before applying.
7. Acceptable use and availability
Do not misuse invitations, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, commit fraud, scrape private data or impersonate another person. Offline functionality reduces reliance on connectivity but does not guarantee every feature is always available. Sync conflicts, outages or device loss can affect access.
8. Liability and account closure
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, exchange-rate accuracy, offer eligibility or error-free user-entered balances. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may delete your account through the app; shared history may remain anonymised to preserve other members' records.
