How the free app is funded
Squario is free to use. SmitSocial.Media Limited may earn commission when a user clicks, applies for, purchases or switches through a partner or affiliate offer.
Clear labelling
Paid placements are labelled Sponsored, Partner offer or with equivalent clear wording. We also state that we may earn commission. Users can ignore offers and core group functionality does not require accepting an offer.
Relevance and eligibility
Offers can be selected using your home or temporary travel country and limited shared-group context. On Squario's servers, group titles, task titles, shopping-list titles and broad expense categories may be used to infer a destination or theme such as Paris or golf. Contributions from people who switch off relevant partner offers are excluded. Raw group text, notes, expense descriptions, shopping-item names, receipts, member names, balances and payment information are not sent to affiliate partners. Sensitive contexts are suppressed. Availability varies by location and provider. A visible offer is not a guarantee that it is suitable, available or approved for you.
Country estimates use the locally hosted GeoLite2 database. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. Squario does not send each network address to MaxMind for this lookup.
Privacy choices
Relevant partner offers are enabled by default for free accounts and can be switched off at any time under Privacy & data. Switching them off excludes your contributions from group-context inference and prevents contextual selection for you; generic offers may still appear. Plus is ad-free by default. Plus members can voluntarily enable selected helpful partner offers under Privacy & data without giving up their ability to switch them off again. Location-based travel offers remain optional and require the relevant choice or device permission. Following a partner link may disclose an attribution identifier and the normal technical information sent by your browser or device to that partner.
Ranking and commission
Commission may be one input in commercial decisions, but geographic and product eligibility rules apply first. We aim to make recommendations useful and transparent. Follow the provider's page for current prices, terms and eligibility.

Account deletion
To request account deletion, email privacy@getsquario.com from the email address connected to your Squario account. You can also delete the account inside the app.
